Toronto, ON – May 14, 2026 – Afro Canadian Development Inc. (ACD) proudly announces the successful completion of Bridging Cultures: Intercultural and Interfaith Forum 2026, a dynamic three-day multicultural event held from April 30 to May 2, 2026. The forum brought together diverse cultural communities, faith leaders, artists, performers, youth, volunteers, community organizations, and public representatives in a powerful celebration of unity, diversity, intercultural dialogue, and community engagement.

Supported by the Government of Canada through the Canadian Heritage Multiculturalism and Anti-Racism Program, the event created an inclusive platform that encouraged cultural exchange, interfaith understanding, community collaboration, and social connection through live performances, traditional music and dance, educational discussions, cultural showcases, networking opportunities, and community recognition presentations.

The event featured live cultural performances, traditional music and dance presentations, storytelling sessions, intercultural discussions, networking opportunities, youth engagement activities, recognition ceremonies, and community appreciation presentations. Participants from various cultural and religious backgrounds gathered to promote peace, respect, collaboration, and social cohesion within Canada’s diverse communities.

Cultural Performances & Traditional Showcases

Throughout the three-day forum, Afro Canadian Development Inc. created an engaging platform where culture, creativity, and community connection came together through live performances, traditional music, dance presentations, storytelling, and artistic showcases representing diverse cultural backgrounds. Attendees experienced powerful cultural expressions that celebrated heritage, identity, and inclusion while encouraging intercultural understanding and meaningful dialogue among participants from different communities and faith backgrounds. Winners of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes were officially announced during the closing celebration ceremony.
