Toronto, ON, (October 10, 2023) — Afro Canadian Development Inc. is thrilled to announce the successful conclusion of its Thanksgiving Food and Water Donation Drive, which took place on October 9, 2023. The event was possible thanks to the invaluable support of Inside Lagos Kitchen and MVR Cash and Carry, who partnered with Afro-Canadian Development to make a positive difference in the lives of those in need.
During this event, we distributed hot, freshly prepared meals from Inside Lagos Kitchen, accompanied by water, cookies, waffles and dumplings, providing nourishment and sustenance to 120 homeless individuals and those residing on the streets in downtown Toronto. It is a privilege to offer a glimmer of hope, no matter how small, thanks to the limited food resources and the dedication of our volunteers.
Emmanuel Animodi, Director of Afro Canadian Development Inc., expressed his gratitude, by saying, ” We are immensely thankful for the overwhelming support from our dedicated volunteers who came together to make this event possible.
