Equipping BPOC Youth Today. Empowering Communities Tomorrow.
JobReady+ 2026 is an upcoming employment empowerment initiative by Afro Canadian Development Inc. designed to help Black and People of Color (BPOC) youth aged 16–30 across the Greater Toronto Area overcome barriers to meaningful employment.
The program will provide free pre-employment training, mentorship, industry certifications, and employer connections, equipping participants with the skills and confidence needed to succeed in today’s competitive job market.
Planned to launch in 2026, JobReady+ aims to bridge the gap between unemployment and sustainable careers by fostering economic equity and inclusion for youth from underserved and newcomer communities.
We’re currently seeking community partners, funders, and employers to help bring this program to life. Your support can help youth gain valuable certifications, access job opportunities, and build brighter futures.
