North York, ON – September 30, 2025 – Afro Canadian Development is proud to announce the successful completion of Career Carnival 2025, held on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at the Jamaican Canadian Association in North York. Supported by the Anonymous Fund at Toronto Foundation, this annual multi-employer job fair brought together 16 employers and more than 113 job seekers and community members for a day of career building, networking, and opportunities.
The Career Carnival 2025 created a vibrant space where diverse and skilled candidates connected directly with hiring managers, explored career openings, and gained valuable insights to support their employment journeys. Employers and organizations in attendance included:

These employers were actively hiring for roles in healthcare, finance, education, community services, law enforcement, trades, and beyond, including Registered Nurses, Early Childhood Educators, Police Constables, Financial Analysts, Supportive Housing Workers, Employment Consultants, Security Guards, and many more.
The event also offered attendees the chance to receive resume feedback, interview tips, and engage in networking opportunities with both employers and community organizations.
