Transitional Housing

Transitional Housing

Transitional housing is temporary accommodation and support services to individuals or families aiming to help them regain stability during their resettlement process. It serves as an intermediary step between emergency shelter and permanent housing. Transitional housing programs often include a range of supportive services tailored to the specific needs of the residents. These services may include case management, counseling, life skills training, employment assistance, and educational programs. The duration of stay in transitional housing in Canada varies depending on the program, which can range from a year up to eighteen months.

Our housing team is available to assist you in finding transitional housing possibilities in Ontario. Our goal is to provide a safe and secure place for refugees/immigrants/people with mental health issues to reside while they navigate the resettlement process. Housing assistance can offer them a stable environment where they can rebuild their lives and adjust to their new surroundings.
