Autism Caregiver Training

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental condition that affects communication, social interaction, and behavior patterns. Recent research conducted by the National ASD Surveillance System in 2018 indicates a significant increase in the prevalence of ASD, with approximately 1 in 54 children in Canada being diagnosed with the disorder.

At Afro Canadian Development Inc., we recognize the importance of providing inclusive and empowering opportunities for individuals with autism. Our organization has been actively involved in promoting mental health, education, and community development. Evidence shows that fostering a sense of belonging, self-expression, and creativity can greatly benefit individuals on the autism spectrum. Afro-Canadian Development offers comprehensive Autism Caregiver training designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to support individuals on the autism spectrum effectively. Led by our experienced trainer, Barbara Lebo, our program provides specialized expertise tailored to meet the diverse needs of caregivers.
